OUT AND ABOUT

Yesterday, My BF and I went to Copenhagen to eat at "kødbyen" (The meatpacking district). We had some juicy burgers which really went well with our hangovers. 

My cat eye sunglasses turned out to be lifesaving, as you can't tell how bad and ugly I felt underneath them.

After Céline showed their take on the ballerina flats, on the runway this season, I've been looking for similar ones at a more affordable price. Yesterday, I saw a great take on the ballerinas with a long front piece at &otherstories - I seriously have to buy them soon!

Sorry for the absence lately! This monday I finally graduated as a student, and the last couple of days have been so busy according to all the graduating parties. 

Yesterday, I was so hung-over, but had promised my friend Sille to shoot some outfit pictures. Despite the fact that I didn't really feel so well, I really love the result of these pictures! And the location is just perfect!

Today Net-a-porter finally started their summer sale. I'm not even done buying summer-clothes this season, and the sale is definitely helping me saving a lot of money!  

If you're leaving for your summer vacation soon, I wouldn't hesitate buying the last few things on sale! Some of the essentials for my holiday are a swimsuit, a pair of sandals, a nice beach towel and a cool gold necklace that goes perfectly with a nice tan and a white shirt.

FLARED DENIM JEANS

Today I wore a "light" version of the 70s look. These flared jeans are so good for me, they make me look more tall and skinny - win win. As I've mentioned previously, the jeans were way too long when I bought them, and I had to cut 17 centimeters off. I actually love the raw look they have got, after I've cut them.

THE NEW MUSTHAVES

1. The polo. The polo has really had its renaissance this season. Previously we've seen it from the classical sport brands like Ralph Lauren and Lacoste - but now the more feminine brands have re-designed it, in some great, soft materials. 

2. The mom jeans. It took a while before all of us joined the boyfriend jeans trend. Now we're moving towards the mom jeans. 

3. The silk scarf. Last season, all of us wanted the popular Lala Berlin cashmere scarf, now we have to invest in a silk scarf. Use it around the neck or as a hairband as a substitute to last year's Missoni hairband-trend. 

4. The sandals. Last year, the it-sandal was Birkenstock. This season the Greek sandals are going to be common property for all of us girls. 

5. The sneaker. Last year Adidas relaunched their Stan Smith sneaker, and the trend grew as fast as the win. This year Superga have relaunched their sneaker in collaboration with some of the biggest bloggers as Pernille Teisbæk and Man Repeller. 

6. The skirt. An easy way to adapt the 70s style into your summer wardrobe, is to add a A-line denim skirt. 

7. The bag. The Chloé faye bag has become the new it-bag. If you want it, you have to be fast! They get sold-out so fast!

JEANS AND A TOP

Today I wore this classic sunday outfit. A pair of boyfriend jeans and a black top, and then I spiced it up with my new sandals.  

By the way, the top has a really amazing cut, and it only costs 29kr. Seriously!

NEW SANDALS

I've written about these sandals, but now they are finally mine! They are so comfortable, and definitely worth the price. I already now know that these sandals aren't going to course any troubles to my feet. 

I can't wait to wear them to a pair of jeans or an bohemian dress.

DENIM ON DENIM

Yesterday, I bought something new - a pair of flared denim jeans. Until now, I've just tried the flared look in my black trousers, but I've finally got the courage to try the denim version. Most of all the jeans reminds me of my childhood in the 90s, a time where skinny jeans didn't really exist. Despite the 90s flashback, the jeans really adds a cool and bohemian look to my outfit.  

If you one day try a pair of flared jeans yourself, then don't be afraid of the long length. I really don't know who this length is made for - I had to cut 17 centimeters off to fit the jeans.
